Although the X-Games are quite over...

This comic has absurd amounts of shadow. I was playing with the charcoal in Painter and it made for a downright dark picture. I think that if I ever need to make a super scary picture, I'll use that.

Let me tell you about how I made this picture. I used the light blue to sketch out a layer of their basic stances, like a stick figuresque pose. Then on another layer I sketched them lightly in light blue. THEN on the next layer I actually drew them in black. And then I colored it adding some last second finishing touches in photoshop.

Oh, and the line above, "Look below you..." should actually be, "Focus your eyes below us..." for I had an X-TREME camera zoom effect thrown in.
